about me

PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
I spent my early years here in Columbus, OH until my family relocated to Scottsdale, AZ in 2002 when I was seven years old. I had an active childhood with a passion for soccer and strong connection to my parents and two older brothers.
My first Arizona summer I eagerly joined a local animal shelter day camp, a tradition that continued throughout my youth. As a teenager I dedicated my weekends to volunteering at the shelter, often spending nearly 12 hours a day there. My love for animals has remained a constant in my life. I am now a certified Rover dog-sitter and had the privilege of fostering a puppy in the spring of 2020.

After a decade in Arizona, my family returned to Columbus in 2012, marking my last two years of high school. Transitioning in the midst of high school posed significant challenges as I had to quickly acclimate to a more advanced curriculum, establish new friendships and adapt to my changed surroundings.
These cross-country moves instilled in me a valuable trait: adaptability. They taught me to be patient, open to new experiences, and quick to embrace change from a young age.

One of my brothers resides in Florida, while the other remains in Scottsdale. I'm now a proud Auntie-Nat to three wonderful nephews and cherish every moment spent with them. Family is a top priority of mine and was a driving force behind the decision to return to Ohio after five years in NYC. Being closer to my parents and readily available to support both them & my brothers holds significant importance to me.
I've set my sights on establishing my roots here in Columbus with plans to stay for the foreseeable future.
EDUCATION:
I graduated from High Point University with a major in Strategic Communication and minor in Graphic Design in 2018.

From the outset of my college journey, I was eager to get involved. In my first semester, I volunteered on campus with the University Key Club. During my second semester, I found my place with Kappa Delta, a sorority renowned for its extensive campus involvement, 20-year running high GPA and commitment to managing four philanthropies rather than one.
In spring 2015, I secured the highly competitive role of University Ambassador, a position I held with great enthusiasm throughout my time at the university. As a UA, I served as a host for open houses and led tours, guiding groups ranging from 8 to 65 individuals. I continued in this role with pride until my graduation in 2018.
From a young age, I developed a passion for photography and videography, constantly advancing my skills with evolving technology. I created captivating video recaps of music festivals, vacations, and campus events. This passion played a pivotal role in my sophomore year when I ran for "Executive Council" and was elected as Kappa Delta's Vice President of Public Relations.
In my role as VP of PR, I served as the primary contact for press, managed our 'Confidence Coalition' initiative, organized photo shoots, created and shared content on behalf of the sorority, and strategically crafted our online presence.
